Founded in 1899, Cartan Tours Inc is one of the oldest and most respected tour wholesalers in the United States. While experiencing a number of changes in direction through the years, Cartan still retains a highly recognized name among travelers and a reputation for quality among travel agents.

Since its inception, Cartan Tours has offered quality escorted tours sold through retail travel agencies. Cartan first began by selling escorted ‘steamer” vacations on the Mississippi River, and later branched out to include other destinations in the United States, Canada, Hawaii, Mexico, Europe, the Middle East, and the Orient. Currently, Cartan’s principal products are the Summer and Winter Games, the Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game, and Canada by Rail.
